Superformance MKIII
What makes the MKIII so much better than its competitors? It looks like an exact replica should. It is aesthetically and dimensionally correct. It is sure-footed and reliable and is as exciting as the great sport roadsters of the sixties. Each rolling chassis comes completely assembled and painted, less engine and transmission. The Superformance MkIII is the only Shelby 427 S/C reproduction manufactured under license by Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc.

CHASSIS: Jig-Welded parallel ladder frame of heavy wall 2" x 4" rectangular steel tubing with large diameter outriggers. Frame incorporates front and rear crumple zones. Door hinge, steering column and windshield pickup-points incorporated onto main chassis. |
BODY: Hand laid fiberglass panels with steel tube reinforcements in all openings. All mounting points plated and doors, hood and trunk double skinned for added reinforcement. Body bonded to chassis and is completely non-stressed. Supplied painted in base coat and clear coat urethane finish. |

INTRUMENTATION: Original style instruments specially manufactured by Smiths of England, fitted to original S/C and Roadster lay-outs. Hand crafted shifter and handbrake. |

PLEASE NOTE: All Superformance products are supplied complete, but without engines and transmissions. The selection, purchase and installation of the drive train are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We also offer the "roadster " version of the MkIII. This version comes standard with roadster bumpers, roadster dash assembly, underside exhaust, and no roll bar for a cleaner and more streamlined look. Due to the headers that are required for the underside exhaust versions engine selection choices are limited to 302 & 351 Windsor based applications. Call for additional details!
